Process engineering is part of a truly structured journey, which mobilizes several areas of expertise and professions at Guillemin in order to transform an industrial need into a concrete and efficient production solution.
This process begins with the analysis of the customer's needs and the study of the assembly process to be implemented. This first step is essential: it makes it possible to identify technical constraints, production objectives as well as expected performances. From these elements, the teams define the operating principles of the future machine and the most suitable technological solutions.
Once the process is defined, the project enters the mechanical design phase. The mechanical design office (BEM) then designs the architecture of the machine, its different assemblies and the parts necessary for its operation. This step aims to guarantee the robustness of the structure, the precision of movements, ergonomics for the operator, accessibility for maintenance and the overall reliability of the system.
At the same time, the automation design office (BEA) intervenes to develop the intelligence of the machine. Specialized engineers and technicians develop the programming of automatons and robots, configure sensors and actuators, and implement control logic that will ensure the smooth running of the production cycle.
Process engineering at Guillemin is therefore based on a collaborative and progressive approach. Each stage of the project involves specific skills that enrich the overall solution. This transversal work results in complete, reliable assembly machines adapted to customer requirements.
