A key role in machine design
Guillemin's Mechanical Design Office (BEM) plays a key role in the creation and improvement of industrial machines. It supports customers from the definition of technical solutions to the design and implementation of equipment.
Thanks to the experience gained over the years and customer feedback, BEM is constantly optimizing its machines and processes. It also provides maintenance support, helping the after-sales service to solve technical problems and improve existing equipment.
A multidisciplinary team and cutting-edge tools.
Composed of engineering experts, it assists sales representatives from the time they draw up quotes by proposing and validating the architecture of the processes to be implemented. It combines the most appropriate technologies, such as assembly methodologies, robotics and vision controls.
In synergy with the Automation Design Office (BEA) and the documentation department, it provides complete support for design projects ranging from mechanics, automation and robotics.
To carry out its missions, the BEM relies on tools such as Solidworks CAD software, enhanced with a Solidworks Simulation license for material resistance analysis.
Collaboration and adaptation to customer needs
Project success relies on close collaboration between Guillemin’s different teams and an effective methodology. Follow-up meetings, informal exchanges and effective communication allow designs to be adjusted to the specific requirements of clients.
Each project integrates the constraints and technical culture of the client in order to design robust, ergonomic and easy-to-use machines. The objective is to create equipment that integrates perfectly into production environments, avoiding any unnecessary constraints for operators.
A commitment to sustainable development
Our team designs sustainable machines, some of which have been in service for over 40 years. It favours local suppliers and develops more energy-efficient equipment, thus contributing to more environmentally friendly production.
A vision looking to the future
The BEM continues to evolve with new recruitments and the integration of scientific equipment to deepen its analyses.
To join a design office like Guillemin's, you have to be curious, creative, passionate about mechanics, and have a good scientific and technical basis. Experience develops with time and practice!
