After several months of development and collaboration with our customers, we are proud to unveil our new standard PLC box designed to control the entire range of GUILLEMIN orbital S series and radial M series riveting machines.

It is intended to gradually replace the current box, in service since 2004.

Design – Eco conception

Designed to provide a more fluid and intuitive user experience, this new enclosure incorporates a completely redesigned human-machine interface (HMI). It combines ease of use, flexibility, and ease of integration. Its modernized design retains the spirit of the previous model while reinforcing the robustness of the front panel, now even more resistant to harsh environments.

Two versions are available: one with a Guillemin PLC and one with a Siemens S7-1200 for more complex applications. Both versions feature a 4.3-inch touchscreen for improved readability and interaction.

The most requested options by customers have been integrated from the design stage, allowing for faster, more economical and simplified implementation.
Among the major developments:

  • Latest generation touchscreens and multitouch: Intuitive interface with a sleek design, clear pictograms and simplified text, making it easier to use and reducing the risk of errors
  • Up to three times more inputs/outputs: Elimination of the expansion box, more compact integration
  • Extended communication (Profinet, OPC-UA, etc.)
  • Increased electrical power
  • Data archiving and traceability
  • Remote access: Smartclient

Other notable advances: The ability to integrate vision sensors and/or controlled cameras. Most customer processes now require increased vision controls.

The use of recipes, useful for producing different types of parts, will offer our customers more flexibility and autonomy in integration.

Maintenance- diagnostic

Finally, particular attention was paid to maintenance and diagnostics.

  • All components are removable, easily interchangeable, and meet industrial requirements.
  • The display shows the status of the inputs/outputs
  • indicates preventive maintenance operations to be carried out, checks, lubrication, cleaning for simplified and proactive maintenance.

This new box will be gradually made available from 2026. Current solutions will, however, remain accessible throughout the transition phase.
