85 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE RIVETING

1911
Charles GUILLEMIN (1866-1956) inventor and industrialist, sets up in Dijon his workshop for the manufacturing of forge blow torch holders and brakes for cycles,


1924
He invents and patents a riveting machine, which becomes his main products,


1955
SARL GUILLEMIN becomes GUILLEMIN S.A. with a capital of 300 000 FF, sign of the development of the company,



1971
A new range of products is developped (silent cold flow forming riveting machine). This will enable the company to expand his activities. GUILLEMIN s.a. also starts designing and manufacturing special machines,


1981
Due to high rate of growth of its turnover, the company needs new premises. A new building is erected in LONGVIC business area. Administration, technical staff and final assembly move into this building. Manufacturing remains in the old premises in DIJON,


1987
The company is still expanding, 1400 square meters are added to the LONGVIC facility. Manufacturing is moved from DIJON to LONGVIC,


1989
S.A. GUILLEMIN capital is increased to 2.006.250F


1997
GUILLEMIN is the french leader in riveting machines. Its main market are :

• The automotive industry,
• Ladder manufacturers,
• Mechanical part manufacturers in various fields.

2001
Acquisition of new buildings and extenion of the surface of assmbly of 1600 m².
2002
Certification ISO 9001
